DESCRIPTION OF CORECOOL FOR NON-ENCAPSULATING ENSEMBLES Overview: The CoreCool™ Personal Ice Cooling System circulates chilled water through a tube-lined garment to remove metabolic heat from the user's body. This system is designed to provide body cooling and manage heat stress for personnel wearing chemical protective clothing. This system will not prevent the user from perspiring and may not be suitable for some applications. Application: CoreCool™ can be worn with a non-encapsulating coverall. In addition to the provided components, the user must also purchase a coolant passthrough assembly, harness assembly, and support hook from Geomet. These components are used to suspend the pump unit and ice bag assembly on the outside of the suit to maintain chemical integrity of the suit.
